Naomi Nicole
Naomi Nicole was born April 16, 2000 in Hartford, CT. By the time Naomi went to kindergarten she was reading at a second grade level. Naomi attended ST. Cyril Methodius Catholic School in Hartford until the first grade. Her parents then moved to the Town of Enfield, CT where Naomi attended ST. Bernard Catholic School until she graduated from the 8th grade. During her years at ST. Bernard School Naomi discovered her passion for singing. Naomi joined the ST. Bernard School choir. One day her music teacher needed a person to sing a solo and she went around the room one kid at a time. She had each kid audition for the solo. When the teacher reached Naomi she was surprised at what she heard. The teacher described it as if an Angel was singing. At that moment the teacher knew she had found her solo singer. She later told her parents that she was very talented and had an extraordinary voice for age.
Naomi’s father remembers a particular day when they were at a mall in Milford, CT, and they were approached by sales people, telling them “Your daughter is beautiful” “She should join our modeling agency”. Well she did, and she was a hit. She then auditioned for Terrific Talent agency out of New York City. Naomi then was able to book several parts including a Verizon Wireless Christmas commercial, a Cola-Cola commercial (America the beautiful), which aired during the 2014 Super bowl, in which she sang in Spanish. She then auditioned for Nickelodeon for the show Dora and Friends. Naomi was offered the roll as the voice of Mariana the mermaid, Carolina, and some of the penguin chicks.
At the age of 13, Naomi met Edwin Ramos, a Grammy award music producer who has worked with recording artist such as Brian McKnight, Robin Thicke, and Mary J. Blige. Edwin Ramos offered to record a small demo for Naomi in order to examine her ability to follow the music. Edwin Ramos was impressed with her performance and agreed to work with her. He then suggested that Naomi should work with Heshima Moja, a vocal coach, in order to work on her vocal technique.
Naomi has now recorder two songs and is currently working on her third song. The first song is called “In the moment”, the second song is called “Overload” and the third song is called “Natural”. These songs are part of her first album, which she is currently working on.
